| Guess what you retards if you look at the statistics gay, bi, lesbian, and transsexual people out number straight people 3 to 1 so basically straight people are becoming an endangered spices when you look at it in a perspective and well I have no problem with straight people I have plenty of straight friends and there are tons of great people in this world without even adding sexual orientation into the conversation. But there are also tons of horrible people in the world no matter what your orientation is. I pity people who don’t feel secure enough with themselves so they spend there time picking others apart. I respect your opinion as a person but that’s bull to judge anyone on there color of there skin, race, choices, name, clothes, who they hang out with, sexual orientation, or anything else for that matter. Sorry that you disapprove of gay marriage but if you really think about it tons of people in history are gay and so are a lot of celebrities and musicians so without gays your life would be quite boring. I fell sort of sorry for you Hun. maybe some day you hatred for gays will dissolve.

| Welcome to gay pride 101 well first off this Saterday there is the Pride Prade @ the park strip down town Mary Parker sent me an email telling me the details here they are: Basically, folks who would like to march in the Pride Parade should be downtown, at about 7th and E Street, preferably by 10:30 am but definately by 10:45 am on Saturday, June 25.
It's easy to find the parade staging area -- just look for the great floats and all the happy people!
Somewhere near the corner of 7th and E will be some parade marshals with a card table, and a list of the order the units march in. They can tell you what 'number' the GSA entry is, which will help you find your place in the line-up.
We walk north to 6th, then west for 10-12 blocks?, and turn south to the Park Strip: perhaps a mile in all? Not very long.
You will also find a group of GLSEN folks marching, and our PFLAG chapter, of course. If you can't find the GSAs, look for one of us and we'll be happy to help.
I have a GSA banner which I'll bring for whomever wishes to carry it (I think it says, "Anchorage Gay Straight Alliances").
Let me know if you have any other questions.
- Mary Parker
If you have any questions send them to me and I'll relay the message | | |
